Rose Snow, Pilgrim 2014 - 2015
I can honestly say this retreat felt like the most holy gathering I have even been in.
Ulanah Morris, Pilgrim 2014-2015
I have been on a deep and rewarding spiritual path for almost all my life, and have had some great teachers. My heart soul and mind are in awe and deep gratitude for the personal and spiritual growth the Pilgrims programme has propelled and held me through this last ten months. I feel huge gratitude and joy when I reflect on the deep and deepening human connections I made during the programme, both in established and new relationships with fellow Pilgrims and guest teachers and musicians, as well as with Fay, who is a natural, humble and very powerful channel for divinity. A highlight for me was the online Easter retreat, during which I had a profound mystical experience of being embodied by Magdalene and being with Jesus, this propelled into me into ongoing accelerated growth. The main highlight was final face to face retreat over four days, with fantastic evening celebrations too. I can honestly say this retreat felt like the most holy gathering I have ever been in. Other people and things I am very grateful for are for Susie Courthold, my amazing mentor, who held me skilfully and generously though some difficult times, the support of other Pilgrims, and for the wonderful webcasts and the flexibility of the programme, meaning webcasts and posts are available in an accessible archive if I could not take part at the time, as I have a busy life. I will be continuing the alumni programme next year.
The Pilgrims programme was for me one of the most honouring, spacious, safe & holy spaces I’ve ever had the privilege to grow in. It was important for me to be able to bring all of myself to the community. As a person of colour with an understanding of discrimination & separation, valuing and inclusion without being made special & exotic was also important.Fay Barratt is a deeply gifted, humble and healing leader who is particularly adept at listening & facilitating transformative shifts in individuals and the group. After the final retreat the healing & insights continue to flood in and I am grateful.
Jennifer Doherty, Pilgrim 2014 - 2015
For me, this pilgrimage was a gentle, powerful way into deeper understanding of the energy of Mary Magdalene. Moving and thought-provoking, the year kept to its promise of letting each of us work at our own pace. The retreats were excellent, and the ongoing support - from Fay, from my mentor, and from the whole group of pilgrims - was a delight, and very helfpul indeed. I look forward to doing more work with this group.
