Details of this retreat and Pilgrimage are to be confirmed. Please contact us if you wish to reserve a place. We can only take 10 people with us.
We spend the first few days in the Hostelerlie at La St Baume, spending time in the sacred forest and the mountain cave in Provence where Magdalena is said to have spent the last 30 years of her life.
We will travel to St Maximum to visit the Basilica where Mary Magdalene’s skull is said to lie; then on to the sea-side town of St Maries de la Mer to join the annual Gitan festival celebrating the Saints Mary Jacobe and Mary Salome and the dark Sara – patron saint of gypsies. These were some of the companions who accompanied Mary Magdalene to Provence. This is a time of gathering, music and ceremony where statues of the Marys and Sara are taken into the sea. We will spend one night and part of two days here.
The last days may be spent in the beautitful village of Dufort et Saint Martin de Sossenac in the Languedoc region. Here we will have time to integrate and absorb all we have received on our pilgrimage.
There may be further travel into Cather country.
If you have questions about any aspect of the retreat or workshops, please contact us. There are many possible ways to spend our time and exactly how we do this will unfold as we join with 'Her' energy. We will be shown creative routes to let go of all that stands in the way of the Spirit's path. We may sit, share, sing, write, draw, meditate, and dance with nature and share the deep silence of the heart. As in all Pilgrimages, challenges will rise; we hope that with support and guidance these will become deep blessings for us to take home.
